Safety is always my first priority
Simple as it is, it started right in front of the machine during my apprenticeship program. I always worked hard to accomplish my task. Getting parts in and out of the machine as fast as possible when it needed learned me early on to work efficient. Blowing away chips and coolant requires safety goggles, but safety goggles are sometimes not enough protection. I often complained about the work hazard which have been minor problems to colleagues but got my priority.
As Workshop manager and later on as Application manager, I got to visit a lot of customers in variety manufacturing fields. I saw first hand that the safety standard wasn't high enough to avoid accidents at work.
Being an engineer and learning to work on prototypes and individual parts I started to engineer my own product with the major feature to increase work safety using air-pressure and coolant guns.
